The first day of the KSHSAA State Golf Tournaments has ended.

The Onaga High School baseball team used its home field advantage last week to win the regional championship, earning a state berth.

The Rock Creek girls basketball team heads into their winter break with a perfect 5-0 record, but it took a gut wrenching come-from-behind win over Wabaunsee Friday night to stay unblemished.

Rock Creek hosted Wabaunsee Friday night, for their last appearance on the court before heading into winter vacation. Thanks to a big second half push, the Mustangs were able to snag the win, moving to 3-2 as they head into the break.
