The Wamego Area Chamber of Commerce held a USD 320 Candidate forum on Tuesday night. All eight board candidates participated in the event. Forums for the 2020 elections are anticipated to begin next year.

On Saturday, May 6, the Rock Creek Forensics team loaded buses for the last time this season. Eighteen students headed west to Salina for the state festival, while twelve students headed east to Washburn Rural High School for the state championship tournament.

The Class of 2017 walked the halls of Rock Creek High School, said its final goodbyes to classmates and teachers on Saturday and then walked through the big wooden doors as every graduate does.
